Hehe, a long journal this time.
Yeah, since my English class doesn't have anything planned for the rest of the year we decided to turn it into a personal finance management class. Our monthly test will be in a group and our grades based on our context of our paper and our teamwork. We're give a problem to solve. The practice simulation went like this:
You're the management team of a medium-sized company. Your star employee (insert various emphasis on his achievements, how important he is, how good he is) is somewhat of an alcoholic (he's able to come to work not drunk, but still intoxicated but not enough to affect his work) and a womanizer who has affairs with basically all the woman in the office. What do you do?
My group decided to keep the guy and try and get rid of his problems by promoting a rival with a better image so he feels the competition. We also had a back-up plan and a last-resort confrontation. In the event that everything fails we decided to fire the guy since he's so much trouble. Though really, it was unanimous in my group that we didn't feel like solving the problem. XD
Hopefully the REAL test next week will be easier to handle. Honestly everyone was prepared to answer some kind of survival situation question like being stranded in the jungle or something. Though at least it helped us, especially for real-life management.
Then I stuck around class to listen to the overachievers in my class argue with the teacher because he forbade them from their usual bulldozing leadership. It was funny even though I missed lunch.

Then we watched "Letters from Iwo Jima" in history class. The movie was very nice, good CG graphics as well. And it was entirely in Japanese (English subs) which won me over.
I also had my math monthly, it wasn't as hard as I thought it'd be but I still took a while to complete. Though at least that's one test out of the way. I was sick of typing trigonometric ratios into my calculator.
I've got a prom apparently, made specially for 9th grade this year by the 9th grade dance council. XD I'm going with a male friend for the discount tickets. I'm not that enthusiastic about wearing a skirt though.
I'll upload something when I remember to get that bag of chips on the top of my scanner off.
